I live in Bellingham, Washington with my husband Trent, son Devin, daughter Lindsay (when she’s not away at UW), two cats, and innumerable basement spiders.
Weekday mornings I sit in a secret windowless chamber upstairs at Michael’s Books, creating online listings for rare and out of print books. The fruits of my labor appear on several online bookselling sites. I spend a good deal of my free time volunteering on event planning, publicity and grant writing projects for KMRE radio and Make.Shift. I also blog about goings-on in Bellingham for the Seattle PI. I used to do quite a bit of freelance writing, and some of that work is archived on this site in the “work archive” category.
Fun facts:
- I ran the first ever NWProjections Film Festival to end up in the black.
- I have never had a driver’s license.
